Gentler motion

A small, soft one. No story changes this time, just a pass over how the game moves, and making sure it feels right for as many people as possible.

The main thing you will notice is that things settle in rather than appear all at once. When choices arrive, they fade up one after another instead of popping into place together. The title screen and the Stories, Codex, and About menus do the same, a quiet cascade rather than a hard cut. None of it is showy. It is the kind of thing you might not consciously notice, only feel.

The part I am gladdest about is underneath. If you have turned on your device's reduce motion setting, and plenty of people need to, the game now honours it properly. The drifting petals, the faint shimmer of the stars, the fade ins: all of it goes calm and still, and the text simply appears. Reading should never make anyone queasy.

While I was in there I also made the game kinder to navigate without a mouse: there is now a clear outline around whatever you have tabbed to, so you never lose your place. And a few of the smaller buttons grew a little, so they are easier to hit on a phone.

Nothing you need to do, if you are on the home screen app, it will catch itself up the next time you open it.

Thanks, as always, for reading.
