The redesign was also an audit

Things I found only because I was rebuilding the menus and had the lights on anyway.
On shorter screens the title screen had quietly boxed in the settings and the feedback form, so a reader on a small phone simply could not reach either. It had been like that for a while. Nobody wrote in about it, which is the part that bothers me, because it means people hit a wall and left rather than telling me.
A good number of codex entries were being counted in the completion total while having nowhere to actually open from. So the number said you were missing things, and it was right, and there was no door.
Both fixed. The general lesson, if there is one: a redesign drags you through every screen at eye level, and screens you never look at are exactly where this kind of thing lives.
