The soundtrack
18 Jul 2026 Perpetūra
Each story in Perpetūra has its own theme, composed for the era and the woman it belongs to. Joseon Korea does not sound like Belle Époque Paris, and neither sounds like the present day, so each score had to be its own thing.
What the music does, mostly, is give the prose a mood to sit inside. You read for an hour at a time in this game. A theme underneath the text tells you what kind of hour it is going to be before the first paragraph does, and when the story turns, the score already knows.
Honesty about process, as always: the music is AI-generated, from briefs I write per story. I direct it, I do not play it.
