The honest one

Time to say plainly where AI sits in this project, because you deserve to decide with the facts in hand.

The writing is mine. The outlines, the first drafts, and every craft and story decision happen before any model sees a word. Downstream of that, I use AI hard: editing help, revision passes, and a review pipeline I built where several models critique a story and I overrule them often. The scene art is AI-generated. The music is AI-generated. I am not going to pretend otherwise or bury it in a FAQ.

The line I hold is this: use it hard in the workshop, keep it out of the room where the reader is. Everything you read was authored and locked before release. There is no model running while you play, nothing improvised at you, no text you see that a human did not decide on. The book is finished before you open it.

I know the concern about AI in creative work is legitimate, and I am not here to talk anyone out of it. None of this is settled, for the industry or for me. If you read all this and decide the project is not for you, that is a fair reading and I respect it. I would rather lose a reader honestly than keep one by omission.
